ACM Novophane.K Shampoo 125 ml

ACM Novophane.K Shampoo 125 ml is a dermatological anti-dandruff shampoo from Laboratoires ACM.

It is a rinse-off cosmetic shampoo made for scalps that flake heavily and keep flaking back. It suits adults whose scalp feels tight or itchy and who see stubborn white or greasy flakes in the hair and on the shoulders. It cleanses scalp and lengths in one step, and can be alternated with a gentler everyday shampoo.

Key ingredients

• Piroctone olamine - the anti-dandruff active the formula is built around.
• Salicylic acid - a BHA that softens the flakes clinging to the scalp so they rinse away instead of building up.
• Cade wood oil (Juniperus Oxycedrus Wood Oil) - the aromatic wood oil long used in scalp care, and the source of the smoky scent.
• Niacinamide (vitamin B3) and glycyrrhetinic acid from licorice - a comforting pair for a reactive scalp.
• Inulin, a plant prebiotic, with glyceryl undecylenate, working alongside piroctone olamine on the scalp surface.
• Panthenol (provitamin B5) and sodium lactate - humectants that keep hair from feeling stripped.
• Coco-betaine and decyl glucoside - mild co-surfactants alongside the sodium laureth sulfate base.

How to use

• Wet the hair and scalp thoroughly.
• Massage it into the scalp with your fingertips, not your nails, until it lathers.
• Leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse out completely with plenty of water.
• Laboratoires ACM suggest 2 to 3 washes a week while flaking is heaviest, then 1 to 2 a week to keep it comfortable.
• Follow with a conditioner on the ends if your hair feels dry.
